SHIEIJYUKU and overseas dojos

SHIEIJYUKU and I.N. Rule

"New Japan Karate Kempoh-Do Shieijyuku" which was established in Niigata Prefecture in Japan in 1985 became a big association in the full contact karate world of Japan.
And since we have an overseas branch in 2010, we changed the name to "NEW INTERNATIONAL KARATE KEMPOH - DO SHIEIJYUKU".
SHIEIJYUKU YAMANASHI joined SHIEIJYUKU from other schools in 2007.
SHIEIJYUKU, who had doubts on traditional Japanese "full contact rules"
1. To make safety of the athlete the highest priority.
2. To be able to use techniques learned in the dojos on a daily basis in the game.
3. Match at an appropriate distance to make it possible to combat skills and techniques.
4. For that purpose, we made rules based on "strict application of foul play".
When Shieijyuku's players participated in a match in Europe, it was that he demonstrated a great technique and was admired.
It has served to create this new rule.
At the same time, we were convinced that this rule would spread to the world.
Detail is
1. To make safety of the athlete the highest priority.
Children are also growing so if you hurt your body too much you will hinder growth.
Adults also repeat extra-battle in the game, excessive physical consumption and accumulation of damage to the body are concerned about work as well.
And it will undermine the motivation to participate in the game.
Therefore, even if you do not reach an extension game, if "difference" arrives in the game content, it is necessary to decide whether to win or lose.
2. To be able to use techniques learned in the dojos on a daily basis in the game.
The "KIHON=basic" that the instructor teaches on a daily basis was not placed much emphasis on the game.
However, "defense" is also very important with attack techniques.
In order to effectively use this defense in the game, the following things are necessary.
Even if you receive effective skills from your opponent, ignoring it and damaging your opponent is advantageous for judgment now.
Change to a rule that is determined to be adversely affected by an effective attack from the opponent.
By doing so, it becomes a true "martial arts karate" that "receives" the opponent's skill "," sink ", puts his effective technique in opponent".
3. Match at an appropriate distance to make it possible to combat skills and techniques.
In the rule of the conventional full contact karate, the players were battling each other at the position where their heads touched each other.
Therefore the technique was also limited.
It was advantageous for judgment to lower the opponent with "Shita-Zuki" and "knee kick".
It was ridiculed as "Sumo Karate" in Japan.
In order to quit this, it is necessary to play games at an appropriate distance.
It is obviously impossible to attack the opponent by bringing the head and head in contact with each other.
We prohibited further approaching the opponent without further skill.
4. For that purpose, we made rules based on "strict application of foul play".
Even with the rule of the conventional full contact karate, various foul offenses are decided.
However, the application of rules has been ambiguous.
It is very important to strictly apply this.
Judges should eliminate ambiguity and make a rigorous judgment with a resolute attitude based on rules.
By doing so, the spectators who are watching are greatly admired by the wonderful technique of Karate and the battle of techniques, which will be the future force of the players.
Rules that have been created from the above purpose have been named "I.N. (International) Rule" so that it can be disseminated widely not only in Japan but also overseas.
This rule is prescribed and it applied from 2011 to the competition hosted by SHIEIJYUKU in Japan.
Other groups accustomed to traditional full contact rules were initially confused, but soon got used to it. And they praised this I.N. rule.
In this way, the rule clearly understood by everyone has spread to overseas at the moment rather than domestically, and it reaches the present.
With conventional rules, I can make a judgment on the subjectivity and atmosphere of the referee, but the I.N. rule overturned it.
The ease of judgment by the judges, the comprehensibility of the judgment of the audience, players are required to honor their opponents and fight fairly and pursue improvement of technology without making a foul.
Therefore, the leader will be able to make an ideal martial arts education for the athlete.
We believe that this I.N. rule will surely contribute to not only full-ranking Karate status and fostering players and leaders, but also peaceful international exchange between dojos across countries.
It has been proven as a result even at this stage.
For the future, the world convention where the convention using this I.N. rule is already done is rich, I hope that it will be used for every corner of the continent, the country, and the region.
